Perėjimas nuo direktyvose 67/548/EEB ir 1999/45/EB pateiktų klasifikavimo kriterijų prie naujųjų kriterijų turėtų būti visiškai baigtas 2015 m. birželio 1 d. Ploviklių gamintojai laikomi gamintojais, importuotojais arba tolesniais naudotojais, kaip tai numatyta Reglamente (EB) Nr. 1272/2008, todėl pagal šį reglamentą jiems turėtų būti suteikta galimybė prisiderinti prie minėto perėjimo per laikotarpį, panašų į numatytą Reglamente (EB) Nr. 1272/2008.

The transition from the criteria for classification contained in Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC should be fully completed on 1 June 2015. Manufacturers of detergents are manufacturers, importers or downstream users within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and should therefore be given the possibility under this Regulation to adjust to that transition within a similar timeframe to that provided for in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

That call reiterated in fact the objective of the 2011 Commission proposal for amendment of the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union, which strove to ensure cost-efficiency and acknowledged that challenges currently faced by the European Union require a particular effort by each and every public administration and each and every member of its staff to improve efficiency and to adjust to the changing economic and social context in Europe.
