αμαρταίνω

Και μήπως εκ φύσεως δεν αμαρταίνει;

And does she not sin naturally as well?

- Δεν αμάρτησα, μαμά!

I didn't sin, Mama!

Δεν αμάρτησα!

I didn't sin!

Δεν αμάρτησα, μαμά.

- I didn't sin.

Εγώ δεν αμάρτησα, εσύ αμάρτησες.

I didn't sin, you sinned.

Εδώ υποφέρουν εκείνοι που δεν αμάρτησαν, ωστόσο δεν είχαν την απαραίτητη πίστη.

Here suffer those that did not sin, yet did not have the required faith.

"Εναντίον Σου, εσένα μόνο, έχω αμαρτήσει και πράξει αυτό το κακό στη παρουσία Σου.

"Against thee, thee only, have I sinned. "And done this evil in your sight:

'Eχω αμαρτήσει απέναντι σας. 'Eχω διαπράξει το κακό.

Against You alone, have I sinned... and done what is evil in Your sight.

Ελεήμονα Θεέ μας... εξομολογούμαστε ότι έχουμε αμαρτήσει... προς Εσένα με όλα αυτά που έχουμε κάνει... και με όλα αυτά που δεν έχουμε κάνει ακόμα.

Most merciful God... we confess that we have sinned... against Thee by what we have done... and by what we have left undone.

Καθάρισόν με από την αμαρτία!" "Ενώπιόν Σου μόνον έχω αμαρτήσει..." Ο τύπος με τρομάζει!

Against thee, the only, have I sinned and done that which is evil in thy sight.
